As most of your are aware, Mike just returned this past June from an incredible, life changing trip to Uganda with 46 other people.  He would tell you that this was the most impacting trip he has ever been on. There were so many opportunities to express love to the people of Uganda. The team was able to rescue 31 additional children, mostly orphans,  who were being abused or neglected in some of the most horendous ways you can imagine. These children are now living in peace at Hope Children’s Home where they are experiencing love; some of them for the first time in their lives.  You can read his daily blogs for June under the Salley Family Blog page located by clicking here. There is another opportunity to travel with Show Mercy International to Uganda this September, 2007. I will be leading a team to continue the work that was started this past June. There will be opportunities to minister and show love to the many orphans that we are currently caring for as well as opportunities to rescue even more. We will also travel to hopitals and pray for the sick as we have on every other trip. We have seen numerous miracles and healings happen while showing love to the sick people of Uganda over the past years including the blind seeing, the deaf hearing, those with malaria and high fevers healed instantly along with many other testimonies of the goodness of God. Don’t just take my word for it; come and see for yourselves.  

Dates: 
Tenatively set for September 18 - October 1 2007

Cost: $3000 which will inlcude, RT Airfare from Portland, Hotel Accomodations for 11 nights, Breakfast and Dinner while in Uganda, Bottled Drinking Water, Ground Transportation, Visa Fees, and Misc. Administrative fees. Basically "all inclusive".

We will most likely eat at the Children’s Homes for lunch which will be of no cost to you. The only expenses you can expect are any traveling expenses while enroute and any souveniers that you would purchase while in Uganda.

If you are interested in going on this trip, you must notify us by August 7th.  We will not be purchasing airfare as a group, so it will be first come/first serve according to the availability of the airlines. We do request that you fly with us as a team. We will secure a seat for you with a non-refundable deposit of $500.
