The Henry Johnson Abundant Life Children’s Center was officially opened by Show Mercy International on June 24, 2006 in the village of Sokolo approximately 50 miles outside of Kampala.  Show Mercy was able to partner with Reach Out Village Ministries, a local NGO in Uganda, to build this fantastic facility that will be the eventual home for up to 100 orphaned and abandoned children. Many lives will be transformed because of this children’s home. Thanks for supporting Show Mercy and allowing us to build a home for these children who would otherwise go without.

Pastor Daniel Nkata of Reach Out Village Ministries has committed to continue adding children in need to this home as the resources are available to do so. We have also provided them with 100 beds for the coming children as well as a goat project that will assist Reach Out Village in providing food, milk and financial resources for this home. This home also sits on over 15 acres of lush farm land that is used to feed the children in this home.
