Communications and Sponsorship Advocate
Uganda based missionary role. This person will be the spokesperson for Show Mercy in both verbal and written communication. You will provide reports and photos as needed to be used in all marketing pieces; including social media, email campaigns, newsletters, blog posts, and other publications. Must be bold in sharing the opportunities and needs of those we serve in Uganda. Join our communications team to help be a voice for the children we serve as well as help coordinate between sponsors and the families they support.
Community Development Team Leader
Uganda based missionary role. This person will work with our community development team. This team leads the many outreaches and ministries of Show Mercy. You will help to disciple our Ugandan staff, inspire them to reach out in love and help to identify the most needed and best areas to serve our Ugandan neighbors.
Hospitality and Maintenance Team Member
Uganda based missionary role. This person will work alongside our missions team leaders to help facilitate the many team members who travel to serve with SMI in Uganda. You'll help to create an environment for our visitors that is comfortable, clean and peaceful. You will also assist in helping to maintain our beautiful Field of Dreams base that provides a safe, peaceful environment for team members to serve.
Administration and Facilitation Team Members
Uganda based missionary role. You will join our administrative department in Uganda. This department keeps the wheels going round and round. You’ll be involved with managing and distributing communications within SMI departments. General clerical jobs, filing, creating reports, etc. Proficient in Microsoft word and excel is a must.
Agricultural Program Coordinator
Uganda based missionary role. This person will work alongside our Ugandan agriculture team learning and implementing Farming God’s Way on the Field of Dreams base that we farm. They will also work to coordinate training days throughout the year to teach the local Ugandans principles that will help them be successful both physically and spiritually. This person does not have to have experience in FGW.
