WE ARE ANSWERING THE CRY OF INJUSTICE.
THE NEW HOT LUNCH PROGRAM STARTED! We have so many incredible children in our sponsorship program that we are continuing to help through this crazy roller coaster ride of COVID - (BECAUSE OF YOU), but it is HEARTBREAKING to drive through the village these past months and see the longing in some of the other children's eyes.... wishing they were picked too....wishing their cries for help were heard! It's paralyzing at times knowing we cannot help everyone. BUT, we are breaking off that FEELING and stepping out to DO SOMETHING. We are starting somewhere. We gathered twenty-nine (29) kids so they could EAT A HOT MEAL, play games and laugh like children should! Seven (7) of the twenty-nine (29) kids were new. They were a bit shy at first, but we know as they join with us EVERY week, they will make new friends and feel right at home. As the sponsored children return to school (hopefully all will be back full-time in June), we will fill their spots with new children from the village BUT FIRST, WE NEED YOUR HELP.
