Food delivery started today.
It was a day full of JOY, but also a day full of HEARTBREAK. We saw first-hand many people who do not have ANYTHING to eat. Children who were already at-risk are now more vulnerable than ever.
What do you do when you have severe hunger pains? Most of us wouldn’t know, but today we found one remedy: fill your stomach with water to stop the hunger pains for a bit. OH MY GOODNESS! Heartbreaking to say the least.
We also saw many tears. Tears of joy and tears of sorrow. The food you helped to supply was an answer to prayer for many.
PEOPLE HAVE BEEN PRAYING
AND ASKING GOD FOR HELP
and today,
GOD used your gift to
answer prayers.
A mother rejoiced as we delivered powdered milk for her baby. Others were in awe of the love Jesus showed to them THROUGH YOUR GENEROSITY.
Each package had a love note attached which shared the Gospel of Jesus and a suggested prayer to accept Jesus as their savior. You made it possible for each family to hear the good news!
Today not only was an abundant amount of food delivered, but LOVE and HOPE were left at each person’s house.
They are going to bed with a reinvigorated heart and a full belly.
The words "THANK YOU" feel inadequate to express our humble gratitude for what you did today in Uganda.
May GOD himself bless you above and beyond what you can think or imagine. That’s our prayer for you this Friday.
